As a title wich is better?
none better use carcano
answer the question
Gewehr 41 despite long reload but atleast 10 rounds on the magazine and 7.92mm Mauser too instead of the 6.5mm Armaguerra.
g41 has terrible sights despite 10 round mag its useless, but armaguerra has decent sights so it would be more useful practically.
i could give you the answer as good but real chads use facts if you are chad use facts
“Then you need choose your sword by your hand, alone”
FACTs: In game: Armaguerra is just better for CQB and Gewehr 41 is for long range
FACTs: In reality: Gewehr 41 would be better in every case + none of these weapons where ever used in WW2 Tunisia theatre (in big numbers or at all)
As the Armgerra mod. 39 only has a 6 round clip and a hit power of only 11.3 is it even any good ? It seems like it isn’t worth using over the carnos also i don’t have it yet so i have no idea what its like.
I would imagine its better to use as a backup weapon in the secondary slot however i may be wrong >w<
Why not make it 12.0 hit power like all the other semi autos
the developers only like pineapple pizza and decimals
From left to right, 7.92mm Mauser, 6.5mm Carcano(The one Armaguerra uses along with the M42 and the M1891 Carcano rifles) and 7.35mm Carcano.
The 6.5mm Carcano is the only cartridge in the game that uses a round-nosed bullet for rifles when everyone else used pointed spitzer bullets.
have you ever used it ? , don’t compare to g43 as g41 has very bad sights not even good for mid range.
Yeah, i don’t mean in game
The actual real chads don’t spam their squads with semi autos but only dedicated certain squads with them such as panzer grenadier squads (unless America then use M1 Garand all day boy)
The round used by the Pavesi M42 is 8x59RB Breda, the same round used by Italian tank MGs. It is much stronger than both the 6.5mm Carcano and 7.35mm Carcano, and even stronger (although not by that much) than .303 British, .30-06 Springfield and 7.92mm Mauser.
Here’s a photo of it (on the left) with the 7.92mm Mauser on the right as a comparison:
And here are muzzle energies of those rounds:
- 7.35mm Carcano - 2 400J
- 6.5mm Carcano - 2 550J
- .303 British - 3 100J
- .30-06 Springfield - 3 600J
- 7.92mm Mauser - 3 700 J
- 8mm Breda - 4 000J
But when it comes to the topic of the discussion, unless you’re like me, a person who will give my Italians only the Armaguerra and my British only Lee-Enfields and the M1917 Enfield (since Brits also used it and it’s basically the P14 rifle anyways, just in .30-06), I think that the Armaguerra would do better up close because of its shorter reload and the G 41 would be better for longer ranges thanks to its higher damage.
You forgot about the 7.62x54mmR but energy for that is 3779 J. Not sure which exact version as there were a ton of them and has been with the Russian military since 1891.
Pavesi M42 yeah have a better round but was limited by a gold order which means cant arm an entire squad with those. Had used the Kar98k along with the 6.5mm and 7.35mm carcanos, I think the Kar98k is the best. For semis, Pavesi is great while Gewehr 41 reloading with two stripper clips just makes it inferior to the SVT-38/40 and Gewehr 43 which were magazine fed.
Italian semis do have less ammo capacity than M1 Garand besides the armaguerra having the weaker 6.5mm. Interesting thing is why the Italians never made a spitzer round 6.5mm carcano like the Japanese did with 6.5mm Arisaka.
Havent tried the Armgerra yet but wanted to drop by saying G41 is an beast in CQC and Mid range combat. However the Russian version is slight better due to its easier control with lesser kick
I personnally perfer Armaguerra.
