no because that does not explain the arisaka
Well, I still have some hope that we will get Japan (that is more likely) and Finland in the future. But the fact that they add those weapons as premium makes files less belivable as indicators of future campaigns.
it takes alot of development work to make these weapons. its not just something you make to make a quick buck.
Its absolutely part of a pipeline.
we will likely see an announcement of japan at some point in the year to come i bet.
Russia had a number of Arisaka weapons purchased in WW1, wouldn’t be surprising if they come as a novelty weapon as a reward for something for russia in moscow.

the model is incredibly complex and high definition textures and shaders are extremely labor intensive.
animating a bolt action is also harder than animating a semi auto weapon
I would love for them to consider Japan-China 1931 as the start or WWII. Italy-Abbysina. Spanish Civil War. International Brigades. Condor Legion. Naval? USS Panay vs Japan? Shanghai Marines, Chinese, British, Coast Watchers. ANZAC. Go nuts!!!
