I havent use them in pacific just couple of them in my unused squads.
Are they good ?
They suck except for Hei with extended mag and Hei (late) version, both gold order weapons.
I personally like the otsu, hei is okay. Gold versions as he mentioned def are really good, esp the gold Hei late

Hei is good for sniping (because extremely good sights) and otsu is pretty much ZH with 5 rounds and more annoying sights.
Both are very usable weapons, grinding Japanese was definitely very comfortable.
in my experience Hei is better for long distances than Otsu, but Otsu is better for CQC, and both rifles suffer the exact same problem which is the 5 rounds magazine, is really annoying having 1 round and having to reload to finish the job, Otsu is faster at reload than Hei

I personally quite like Type Hei and can’t stand Type Otsu, both due to their sight picture.

ostu can outreload almost every gun but BARa2 and pistols

well while usable, they are really annoying cause of their 5 round magazines. they are in weird place cause for longer and medium ranges BA are better and they have limitation of 5 round magazine in cqc while needing 2 bullets to kill/down enemy.

well for f2p they are literally the only semi auto gun you get so yea? i mean if you like bolt action good for you but for me i go for semi all the time
