I don’t use TNT so much as of late, but I had at least a pair of episodes in which I placed the charge (on tanks), and when I used the detonator nothing happened. The charge was still there, as indicated by the HUD icon, but the detonator just didn’t trigger it.
I am not sure if that’s a bug, or if random TNT malfunctions are an intended thing. Either case, it sucks to successfully sneak on a tank, just to be betrayed by a malfunctioning detonator.
it possibly a bug since one time my guy push it 5 time and it never explode until i change back to it
Yes. There is a bug with the TNT sometimes, where it doesn’t want to explode after being placed, I’ve had that as well. Selecting your main weapon and switching back to the detonator usually fixes it. Sometimes the explosives also jump back into my hand like a yo-yo instead of being dropped. I think it could be related to server latency.
Either way, not good. Packet loss making the game “forget” that I placed the TNT is already annoying enough, the detonator straight out not working just sucks.
Good to know that switching weapon and/or soldier MAY fix it, but that still means losing precious seconds.
Honestly, I never had any problem. I do always place tnt in front of tank’s turret and in 9/10 cases tank is destroyed.
Doesn’t really matter which tank.
I personally haven’t encountered bug which would make tnt not explode or something like that. But quite a number of people already mentioned something like that here on forum.
Definitely a bug. Just experienced it twice tonight on European servers, playing as US in Tunisia
