Are there any plans to punish review bombings?

I definetely do not. That’s on developers.

Developers of a game decide if a negative review is honest or is a review bomb on their game doesn’t look promising; that is all I’m saying.

Siri, what’s a conflict of interest?

I saw the other thread. Why are you so anti at people collectively sharing their dissatisfaction towards a decision taken by a company?

In the end the only thing fundamentally different to me is that other guy tries to organise for change. The rest is just a different flavour of dissatisfaction.

Do you really think that I have never commented negatively on the approach and decisions of the developers? Lol

I’m just against people literally damaging the game in order to further push their own interests.

But this means literally nothing and everything at the same time. Everyone has an interest and every expressed negative opinion might damage the game.

That’s not true. Especially when you’re already threatening to deliberately damage the game if the developers don’t make certain changes you are demanding. That’s blackmail.
And if you encourage others to do it, that’s review bombing.

The worst part is that these people don’t even realize how bad of an impact it could have on the game. But they don’t care. They go all or nothing style.

Actions damaging the game:
Negative reviews bombing - not allowed
Bad updates, Broken Promises, Numerous Bugs, Poor economy, Bad communication - fully allowed

Sure

That’s clearly a manipulative way of understanding these things.

I don’t see any good games got mass review bombed. If it is, something must be seriously wrong with the game/update and there is huge resonence among the players. Devs are the only ones to blame in this case.

Sure they can always fix the game and then players will change their reviews back to positive…Oh wait that’s blackmailing.

Yes, it is. :man_shrugging:

It is, so long as the review is written by a person who from their own perspective cares about the game but writes a negative review.

We all write our opinions from position of self-interest. You too.

That’s your opinion. It worked with war thunder - because it went against dev (financial) self interest.

Honestly, if the devs have managed to create a situation where a significant part of existing player base is going to review bomb the game for whatever reason enough to move the needle, then the devs have majorly fucked things up and need to step up to fix it.

And they have fucked up stuff badly.

Then everything is perfect, the game is doing great! Have fun!

Surely.

Oh, yes.

So you want to compare why people had the review bombed WT, with why they want to do the same with Enlisted.
That’s unbelievable.

The bipods are at work, the queues for MM will be affected by the number of players after Steam releases, and the economic situation is much better than it ever was in WT.

But I understand that left minded people just have that protesting thing in their blood. And as long as they don’t get everything they want without any compromise, they will always find a way to manipulatively harm so that everyone who disagrees with them suffers as well.

Spoiled and disgusting.

You, out of all people. Make a thread like this one?

You kept holding accountable ( as everyone should ) them for their own words that they kept breaking for no reason, making false promises. Didn’t delivered as promised, and outright convenienty forgot things or didn’t even checked stuff before pushing out having more issues return, people shouldn’t review bomb it when said feedbacks gets ignored and not even adressed?

As I like enlisted as much as you, or everyone else do, that should happen.

But to be quite frank with you, I doubt enlisted will get review bombed. At best / worst, will get mixed reviews. Which it’s what deserves.
As everyone should know opinions of players.

Enlisted is great, but far from being perfect with relatively huge issues.

Nothing more, nothing less. I would think that is.

I just

Lol.

Holding people accountable to their promises is leftism? Lmao. I’m rather right wing - holding people accountable on what say and do (or dont, hello devs), instead of making bs cope excuses for them.

Anyway since you felt its ok to ignore most of my post, I’ll just do the same. War thunder was just a reference to a situation where 1.) Players cared and 2.) Effected positive change with review bombing. Sorry of the subtext was lost to you.

Lol, hold on. I never said your reasons for wanting to write a negative review are not valid. :man_shrugging: I never was talking about people who are like you.

Stop derailing my topic.

If @ErikaKalkbrenner is okay, then I have nothing to complain about. Maybe I was just overacting.

Stop being naive and admit the truth.
Our forum posts didn’t change a thing.
Even the bug reports are being ignored by the dev team. If players can use communication to solve the problems then why they’ll feel the need to review bomb.

As for what and who determines what’s review bombing or criticising

It’s like letting a defendant to decide if himself is guilty.

And what kind of damage can a review do to seriously threaten or damage the game itself. What stakes do we hold to blackmail? By not playing the game? It’s a completely “what if” situation. The devs ain’t stupid.

So far the complains in the form is rather rational. They were about the silver economy, matchmaking, the low tier slaughter from BR3 veterans and infinite plane spam. These are real problems and should be addressed. How many posts have been made complaining about these topic and was there any changes been made?

Review bombing is the last resort. And they have been forced to it

Well, as someone said it better than me:

And above all:

People should be aware of the various issues.

And through lots of complain or even a bomb review, changes might actually appear.

Like, think about it.

The Chinese have a better and more fair client that ours.

Bet those publisher sure are the reason like they described.

Yet we get most end of various sticks. And sometimes, not even what was advertised.

Is it really black mailing? Sounds more like a wake up call.

But, it could be that “we” may be a loud minority.

I suppose after those closed access steam version we’ll see.

Guess it was clever to make people get the version only to comment on.
Might prevent the masses to comment at day one.
And if they do, they get their money lol.

I’m starting to agree that enlisted is feeling like a cash grab each Day.
Or maybe I’m being pessimistic lately.

Anyway, Only time will tell.

I do admit that I overacted. This whole topic was completely unnecessary. I just wanted to show my concern about recent behavior trend in enlisted’s community which I don’t think is positive at all.

Well, it’s good to remind people to be objective, ( even though, it seems impossible these days )

And should have specified that, vendettas servers no one.

But at the same time, we are all here for one thing, making this game the best thing it can be.

Although, most things get in the way.
