Are select fire rifles OP?

What AR has a dmg of 13.4? Not even the federov has such a dmg.

AR dmg is ±10 dmg at 50 metres, usually even slightly less.

You could still use full auto at longer distances when mounted. Similarly to MGs. Obviously with much smaller mag capacity than BR5 MGs have.

The goal is not to make full auto of SF rifles completely useless with exception to cqc. But to make semi mode a valid option for more situations.

If you need to be more agile and not static at medium distance+. Then using SF rifles shouldn’t be effective as using ARs.

You should decide between mount the weapon or semi mode.
ARs should always be used in superior mode (full auto) for medium distance and be effective and agile. As they’re more limited.

My only defense of this gun is that I think it should remain a SF rifle. And not to be reclassified to an AR.

Of course. But DF has put most of its energy into active matter, and Enlisted has been in the Dark Ages for some time. I’m afraid this situation will persist until the official release of active matter. How long exactly? God knows! The one-month delay of the battle pass is not a good sign. I certainly hope they can focus on Enlisted, but they haven’t done so.

Theoretically speaking, IF Type Hei would receive such nerf together with the other SF rifles, and what I say 30 meters effective full auto range would get even crazier nerfed to only CQC - like what 10 meters at best? - well then I would actually agree with you, because that would mean that Type Hei would never down in one shot at ranges where it is forced to take aimed shots. This would actually be severe enough of a downside to justify 30 rounder mags.

In some materials, I saw that its magazine only has 20 rounds of ammunition. I don’t know what the source of this claim of 30 rounds is.

So what? Let them have other projects - if they are successful this should only benefit Enlisted, as long as people keep playing, it is worth it to put resources into it.

Also again, we are being very realistic in this debate, we here agree that a major mechanic change is unlikely to happen, because of both effort and weapons being already established.

But dude, why do you think the game is dead and doesn’t get any updates anymore? We literally JUST got a nade laucher balance change, surely some recoil stat adjustments aren’t hard to do.

Fortunately, April Fool’s Day is coming soon. Let’s see what they are up to. I hope that they can come up with a satisfying update while keeping it highly confidential. I can’t remember when I said that the game would never be updated. I also mentioned the future Soviet-Japanese campaign. I just said that the updates are slow and minor.

I think the FG-42 family should be dispersed within MG and Sniper class so that we don’t have 9 man uberfallshirmjager.

The same goes with every other weapons. Automatic weapons have no business in the hands of other than machinegunner, assaulter, and in Germany case, snipers

BR5 should be a full separate BR level since every weapon is FULLY auto, and that is where I draw the line between level 4 and 5 is with the Semi auto’s.

Level 4 is like your local Saturday night dirt street stock and level 5 is Nascar, and they shouldn’t be competing against each other.

Everyone should go watch Forgotten Weapons videos on how it looks to fire full power battle rifles in full auto

It’s not a laser. Most of them are essentially unusable in full auto unless heavily braced and it simply should be like that in Enlisted

This would easily break the idiotic 9-man rifle squad meta, while also leaving the SF weapons plenty useful and with their own niche AND without ruining any other weapons, which are mostly in a defent spot currently

I wonder what would happen if vitality would be massively nerfed to something like 10% HP instead of current 35%.

This would change the game very dramatically … like turning MGs into one hit kills and drastically increasing the one hit kill range of semi auto rifles, not to mention that all SMGs would become reliable two hit kill guns, while high caliber SMGs like Thompsons would even stay two hit kill for quite some distance.

Well, Fedorov and G43K like guns that deal around 10dmg could become very very effective at close range, maybe those could require some change but idk.

So yeah in this particular way selectfire rifles would have a very long one hit kill range which would make them ideally used in single fire and bursts.

Aaaand the cherry ontop would be that soviet body armor would NOT change the rounds to kill, of pretty much all guns anymore other than effectively increasing the danage drop of weapons.
