So I’ve just learned that in case of PzF100, it’s irl accuracy at 30m was about 50% (according to some british tests).
Meanwhile in game, rocket launchers have dispersion better than some BA rifles and even comparable to some sniper rifles. I don’t say they should be as inacurate as irl but don’t you think they may be a bit too acurate now?
I think the same
Infantry is strong vs tanks in close range - > tanks avoid infantry and hide in gray zone - > infantry can’t be nerfed vs tanks because they need to fight tanks in the gray zone.
Eh, 2-3 ranging shots and you can hit at almost any range no matter the bullet drop.
Sure, it’s not as easy as with a rifle but rifle doesn’t blow up tanks.
eh its not that hard to compensate for the drop, I can normally hit tanks which are 200-300m away relatively easily with a projector of some type, exception of the PIAT I guess
well yes and no… if properly aligned they are too accurate compared to their real life counterparts. iirc bazookas were mostly used under 100m as last defense, not for sniping tanks 200+m away. considering that this game mostly has shit players that dont have skills to hit tank further than 10m away, they are not too accurate.
it would hurt a lot… rocket launchers already require some skill if you want to hit something above 100m and it would be almost impossible to hit anything above that if you added rng.
yes, but they require engineer or AT squad which you may not deploy at any time. considering number of people camping in grey zone, AT rocket launcher should be “easy” solution to counter those tanks. even with current accuracy, you rarely see tank killed from 100+m with rocket launcher. even i may need 2-3 shots till i can hit tank cause i dont have height adjustment memorized for all ranges and even when i hit the tank i need to adjust those shots to actually hit vulnerable place.
btw if i am having problem killing tank at range cause i am too lazy to memorize height adjustments, then over 95% of playerbase just doesnt stand a chance to hit anything at longer ranges.
You can easily use BA rifle to hit enemy within 1-2 shot. So BA rifle is still more accurate. Not to mention you might need to rerange the shot if the tank moves.
The lack of range etches on the M9 is detrimental. You kinda just gotta memorize how it arcs to consistently hit tanks at range. I still often overshoot or undershoot by a good couple feet before nailing an enemy tank
