Are 15 v 15 battles a thing?

So I was playing a match earlier today and I noticed on both teams 15 players were present. I was on Squads mode, and none of the players disappeared during the game.

Are the devs secretly trialing a new large battles mode?

I certainly didnt notice it, and Id be surprised if they didnt announce it since its been a popular request. But I mean if you have a replay of it happening, who am I to argue with that.

Nah, if people leave the match and get replaced by AI players or real players - then the leavers still appear on the leader board.

Are you sure about this? Players that left have usually “grey” names on the leader board

the extra players are bots that are still alive in the battle field and usually they would disappear after a while but if they stayed the whole match maybe the game was short enough were they survived the whole match or when the game started so many people joined and left it kept a few extra. For me the most one seen hang around was 12 on both sides

I’m starting to think maybe some were bots, but for whatever reason they didn’t disappear.
