I’m afraid they’ll kill the Enlisted and make the DF support the WT infantry.
I know it’s April Fool’s Day, but it’s not impossible for gaijin to do this, maybe they want to do it permanently.
we should wait for today’s event, if there was one thing without new content, it’s going to happen.

Come on, Gaijin publishing Enlisted and getting a cut from sales and Darkflow getting to use all assets of WT is a win-win for both of them, its unlikely that they would break such a sweet deal especially since how popular Enlisted is and how fast its growing.

If they’d merged the projects together with that I would be able to keep my stuff to some extent. Actually, I wouldn’t mind at all, quite the opposite.

If they were just shutdown enlisted as H&G, it would be pretty sad. But whatever.

While the game is growing, instead of adding content, they started reducing content, frequent delays and deleting GO, don’t forget that we haven’t had a single major event in two months.

Maybe they removed GO in the context that they are going to implement Gaijin market place.

Because in that case it would make sense. The GO system is in complete contradiction to the gaijin market place. Since GOs are more or less coupons for free, allowing you to just completely bypass the market place.

And they were at least considering to implement it (according to an old Q&A)

What I meant by merging is to just transfer stuff from Enlisted to WT account. Shouldn’t be so hard since those games are using the same account.

As long as WT doesnt add infantry into WW2 era, it wont kill Enlisted, though it will hurt it as it will give a f2p alternative fps game.
But we will see how it goes, I doubt that WT would want to expand with playable infantry.

I doubt that WT would want to expand with playable infantry.

WT is vehicle game and infantry is highly unlikely for their normal game. they would need to massively increase number of players in each battle to even make sense for adding infantry and that would give rise to its own technical difficulties.

It doesn’t matter if it’s WW1 infantry. Once they add infantry to WT outside of the april event. It will either mean a slow decline and the subsequent end of enlisted. Because there is simply no reason to have only WW1 infantry in WT and no other.
Or those projects will just merge together. (Which I don’t think is impossible at all. Just have the enlisted players transfer most of their stuff to WT via a shared account).

AI infantry roam the trenches and are a target while in your tank and plane. The British and German soldiers wear authentic uniforms from the time period and also charge into no man’s land. They can fire back at you and throw grenades, so watch out!

Or maybe this could cause WWI to be added to Enlisted? Maybe this event is to attract WT players to Enlisted, then the snail can steal players’ money in two places.

you would get same technical difficulties with bots also. you would increase load on servers regarding CPU and bandwidth. that would increase lags depending on the scope of the game. just look at enlisted and max player count without problems in lone wolf and with the bots.
