Hello again bandeide here. and we going to talk about the ability to drive a APC after he is on the map.
if parked a APC and a cap zone is conquered by my team, i could spawn a squad inside MY apc, and drive he to the next spot so i can park it again.
APCs are here to help logistics, i don’t know why after i parked my APC somewhere in the map i cannot drive it anymore. i not talking about people driving MY apc, i talking about i driving my own APC.
you need an APC crew/Driver, unlike a tank.? My guess is anti-grieving to stop people from moving it. Just like a ‘friendly’ player can’t destroy you rally point. You can get out get back in with the same squad, but not another sorry but ‘shiver game balance’
Its really annoying that your current APC gets blown up when you want to use it again.
I understand stopping other players from moving your APC, but of course thats not what you were asking for.
I recall a Roblox game called Galleons where one could ‘lock’ the steering so only the player who was the captain could control it, no one else.
My point being, if friggin Roblox can make it that only a certain person can control a vehicle, why cant Enlisted???
Personally I find the idea of an APC driver strange and annoying. In real life its actually not that hard to even drive a tank. Certainly in the 1940s the average soldier wouldve known how to operate a manual vehicle so driving a truck like a Studebaker really anyone could do.
At the moment anyone can drive generated vehicles (including trucks) and also any soldier class can control abandoned tanks or motorcycles (motorcycles as long as that squad is unlocked).
I believe anyone in your squad should be able to control APC, not just a specific ‘driver’. Each player would only be able to control their APC, but any of their squad could take over.
yes drive as in go straight forward or backward, drive as in stop start turn pivot drive while firing, climb slopes you know tank, i say no. Also how many people could drive a car?
