AP Mines/spam - Good idea from Lisqs Post

Why stop at mines? Lets go further.
Japanese soldiers cant walk with a 52kg AT cannon. The Japanese actually used horses to transport it.
So nice, Japan cant use its first AT gun because of ReAlISm.
Allies cant rearm in air in Normandy and need to fly back to England to rearm… and much more stupidity…
All that because disappearing mines is apparently too much to handle.

IDC, i don’t use em that much, only on engie of late, as others say to put on own rally.
i am not one asking to remove something, because it can kill them.

I think it is also not because of “It CaN kIlL” but rather its excessive and skillless and toxic spam.

Mines unless placed on a rally, are 1 kill lethal for one guy.

I know this, but it the few and not all, and i think it toxic scummy tactics my self, but to think the time i will try and protect a path on obj it gets removed due to the few scummy toxic players.

I do find it valid for clan war fare though, whom just happen to play on same servers.

And the 10 others from same dude lying around. And the 10 from the other dude and another 10…

Once again, the mine is doing its job perfectly as intended. Complaining about it only proves it. They’re supposed to be sneaky traps and delay the enemy. I think they are completely fine and should be unchanged.

The only real suggestion would be to make Engineers have the ability to disarm mines. It gives them even more utilities. This should definitely be added to the game

Tanks camping in greyzone also do their job technically. Just a pit for the infantry.

Or old bombs that nuked entire maps including allies.

Or dispersion nerfing autos to give SAs and BAs a slightly better chance.

Or that free players only have four slots…or

Already works like that, if your buildables are stuck in the greyzone, you can build them again, though I don’t remember if it’s just your greyzone or the absolute greyzone.

Not exactly sure how these are comparable ?
1 requires specific soldier, requires some time and effort

The cost of using landmines is to give up TNT explosives, and this cost is not small. You cannot say that someone else’s weapon is powerful just because you have been blown up.This will only leave the game with only snipers and assault soldiers in the end.
Also, you can clearly see landmines! If you don’t want to be blown up, walk slowly, or throw a few explosive bags before entering the house.And shelling can also effectively clear landmines.

Yes but engineer structures have limits … you can only build so many of them. Mines have no limit…meaning can be spammed. Structures also go away when they go into a grayzone when the zone shifts … in a game like Confrontation that means rebuilding if the zone moves away… whereas mines to my knowledge still stay,

You still get detpack, so your not exactly giving up anything as detpack is better.

Some of us are actually playing the game, holding / attacking the cap points.
I understand your point of view, that if only you spend majority of the game in prone position you will see the mines better.
How ever its not exactly fun for most of the people and even less its effective.

I would like to know how often you actually encounter tanks outside greyzones. And if it is such a great price, I am wondering why people still spam them.

Yeah Why people complain about it? Why do they complain about greyzoner and FLAG03ers?

This still doesnt prevent AI from straight walking into them and doing nothing but getting killed.
And as someone else already pointed out, most people at least try to play for CPs and have better things to do than keep walking as slow as my father with hearth and circulation issues and keep looking at the ground instead at the actual surrounding. And I am pretty sure that is not only fun and balanced, but will also be greatly appreciated by the enemy.
And speaking of explosive packs… how about using them for your very severe issue of no TNT?

AP mines are crutches for poor infantryman. They are alright if you are greenhorn and need the xp for unlocks, but after that they are meh. 99 procent of time is a braindead spam tool.

Wow you just solved the minefield problem in Africa.
This is a very bad idea because the game involves a lot of personnel loss and no one would plant mines anymore because they would see no point in it.
The problem is not the landmines. The problem is players who are disturbed by enemy mines.

Our argument like this will not yield satisfactory results, why not seek some other ways?In short, I believe that the problem of mines is more about causing Infuriating to people, rather than being too powerful.
