today i would suggest some mine that in use by german and soviet in particular for Battle for moscow campaign

In gameplay wise land mine serve as area denial weapon to block the movement of vehicle or infantry to certain are (i.e cap point, road etc) but to balance it i suggest the mine only to be ably to plant in dirt ground (since of course you cant dig hard floor and plant the mine, unless it a tripwire mine) and explosive can destroy the planted mine also give the engineer class some mine detector device as unlockable tool. then give the engineer class some ability to detect and defuse mine in proxymity of player (like how Pointman class able to detect and defuse mine in RS2 Vietnam)
No. Big no. Mines are a passive way to kill people, instead of an active way. Instead of having to watch your back, you can just place a mine and enemies can not flank you. You can put one down in cheeky spots around a capzone and get tons of kills for only knowing what the most cheeky places are for these mines. I prefer weapons that reward skill.
but just like i said at least there is some mine countering ability to balance the presence of land mine (i.e mine detector, mine spotting ability, explosive, limit the number of planted mines etc)
Sooooo they place a bunch of mines, and for us, to cuonter that, we need to:
1: unlock some kind of anti-mine device or skill
2: know the general area where the mine is placed (unless you wanna sweep the entire map)
3: spend a critical ammount of time putting away your weapon and taking out the anti-mine device to look for the mine in that spot
4: hope to not get shot while doing so
5: find the mine and disarm it
All because… they placed a mine
And if you do not put in all that effort, you simply die to a random mine.
The effort between enabling and disabling a mine trap is simply too great.
Good idea. It will prevent players from spawncamping but it will only effectively work on invasion by defenders. On conquest, it will be good for keeping constant enemy “urra” charges from capturing the zone
In my opinion there is no place for mines in Enlisted. At this moment maps are too small to add something like this. There is no time and need to look for them with some devices or waste grenades to eliminate potential mines. Good team can easily control area without mines. And if the team is not that good then they will have no time for placing mines anyway.
Even if in final game we get much bigger maps there placing mines would be pointless, especially AP mines. There would be to many ways to go around them.
