The plane cannot take off no matter what, it doesn’t have it (the take off option from flaps), compared to other planes. this is completely bugged
as a result you constantly fall into the SEA at the very start, extremely game breaking and unplayable.
All other US planes have the option to take off, this one doesnt. I tried to fly high with just Up Flaps and Gear Up. None works, you’ll crash straight into the sea after 10 seconds
This is the plane you unlock at level 30 for the US on Pacific.
I have the same issue. AP-1 plane is bugged on Pacific. PS5 user here. It cannot take off, always plunges into the ocean. All other planes are taking off fine as before. Needs to be fixed.

It is not bugged at all, watch you tube videos, it has a low stall speed and do not use flaps when taking off. Keep nose horizontal ensure speed and slight rudder to keep straight, do not go under 150TAS, so when you fly off carrier, don’t suddenly start climbing, let your plane flying level and pick up some speed, then side climb keeping speed over 150 remember.
