Omw to get an golden soldier coin so was wondering if theres anything extra with those ? Are they guaranteed to have full stats, special perks or is it just the cosmetic with the names and de picturing of real war heroes ?
they are just soldiers lvl 4 with a small medal

Oh wow, nice. I do not have a single level 5. I think it has something to do with me not really understanding the whole off battle dynamics of it. I have so much unused stuff.
By the time I got ready to learn about the academy, I read here that they removed it. So this part of the game - cusomization and orders and etc is so confusing to me.
No, their base stats will still be 14, 15 or 16 per atribute on 5 star. Depends on your luck.

For most part yes, I do believe names on (some of) them are slightly altered.
I believe only the older onces come 4 star and the new onces do come as 5 star.
Honestly they are kinda disappointing in their current implementation as normal Soldier I are easy to upgrade. The Soldier II and III do have some value though.

you know the golden platter you get to buy things like golden weapons and so on.
Thnx all and yeah i hope they will implement something cool but subtle so it dont make them to OP in game or else the p2w fork will be raised high ^^

I used one of my troop orders on the Italian LMG gunner in Tunisia because there isn’t an Italian LMG gunner 2 in game
Those soldiers don’t even come with the pre generated max stats of the specific class.
Example : A normal rank 4/5 soldier can have better stats than the rank 4/5 golden order one.
Academy was shit.
Now you just spend bronze order to upgrade the level (number star) of your troop.
For rank 1 soldier:
2 
= 6bronze order
3 = 6bronze order
4 = 6bronze order
5 = 18bronze order
It so much simplier.
All gold order soldiers come at level five. Twitch Drop soldiers come at level four (and also with that medal)

If think it’s well design.
Everytime I start a new campaign my squads evolve the same way than my campaign.
At lvl 25 i got 4-5 full 5 squad.
But only if you take rank1 soldier.
For the moment picking rank2 or rank3 is useless and too expansive.
but, but, but the Perks? I need 8 Green Points at least faster Revive… 16 Reds - Vitality and 20 Yellows faster Reload, Faster Shoot with Bolts
16Vitality perk is over rated.
Most of time I pick life regen and endurance.
If enough point endurance and med kit heal.

Imo stamina regeneration speed (free) is better than double stamina (costly).
