Look up the WW2 tactic called “button up”. Machine guns would spray the view ports forcing the crew to close the ports or get hit with fragments

I wonder if they even did it in reality tbh, as i woudnt want to be one with MG that spray tank that can still shot back.

Not possible, idk how the hell that immobilised tank killed so many Nazis with panzerfausts in the movie.
Didn’t like the movie either in general…
Looked more like pro usa propaganda than a neutral war movie. I mean, usa acted worse than actual nazis in it, executing prisoners, torturing them etc. yet it’s pictured as ok, cause usa are good guys, yeah?
And that CHARGING tiger at the end… oh boy. Tiger did not have gun conpensators when moving and enjoyed better effective range… could have casually picked every Sherman from afar 1 by one…
Oh well. It had nice special effects and actual tanks in it at least.

I thought it was terrible and don’t see what the hype was all about.
That and they wrecked the Sherman used to play Fury.
how were Americans acting worse than Germans lol they had a children fighting tanks then a whole bunch of children surrendered and they shot a civilian and hung them outside of town and they only executed the officers but you say the Americans are worse i would have killed every nazi officer i encountered
but for the rest i agree charging the tiger those Sherman’s would have been dead

I would’ve run over pitt with a truck so much I found him annoying in this movie.
As tank movies go, I prefer and suggest the Exellent t34 movie. Sure it’s sided for the Russians but at least this time it makes more sense.
I also found out where they took inspiration in Enlisted for the censored pz4 premium in Moscow, it’s definitely from that movie:
