Anyone trying new mission editor?


I am trying to recreate RO2 train station map via the editor.

It took me 6 hours to finish 3 sectors and 2nd stage of each team’s respawn points.



The ridiculous part of drawing airplane space and refill point.

Then… I found if I want to recreate RO2’s mission logic then I have to use Assault mode…

Even if I have experience of concluded all game’s maps respawn/sector data and knowing invasion/assault/destruction mode well. OMG, RO2 use mixed capture result–some point will instant go off after captured, while some point will still able to recapture.

I think I will do a assault mode first (if I ever made it)

Currently I messed up with zones…

Also, map has so many random native spawnpoints… I think my editor messed up with my own respawn points with map’s random points.

I don’t understand this mission editor. how many persons can play to a custom map? Will we be able to play in squad mode with our bots squads?

Seems borders working, but map is not showing correct things.

Also enemy is tooooo fierce! At editor mode, I can not use my account’s weapons. Also editor’s key settings is also not my OG key settings… Have to adopt to it…

Emm… After every restart, the editor automatically re-add those random spawns.

Also. I successfully triggered into next stage

Also… due to play test actually changed all stage active state,


You have to reset ALL active state after each test…
(For a real functional mission, you only need group activator to be active, leaving rest of all part not active)

I dont know when to edit the map… At start?

i’m having a blast with this new editor.

i just figured out that you can spawn stuff and test them.
even change clothings and face on your current character.

although… the more i look at the vehicles and weapons present there, the most somewhat upsets me due to how much stuff is currently ready and somewhat finished, but not present in the game.

they also removed the sdkfz 251/10 and many others vehicles that were present…
oh well…

This is only a mission editor. They locked all other functions of the editor

i think terraforming and actually changing the landscape.

Nah.

You can terraform.

It’s literally in the toolbox features on the top right.

Although, it’s a bit clunky

I belive you can add a group activator at any stage of the editing process as long as the parts of the mission have their group name set correctly

you may accidentally click on a lot of redundant entities, you can use the search function to find them and delete them
