I hate holding down RMB and prefer single clicking, despite the button controls for the bindings - I can’t seem to trigger any form of single click ADS.
Anyone managed to trick it into working? If so let me know your exact button setups for Aiming,Aiming 2, Zoom etc

Quickly tapping RMB lets you aim down the sights as a toggle by default, but without the zoom.

That is definitely not what the OP asked for. With the zoom should be default when quickly tapping RMB, unfortunately it is impossible to fix it in the settings.
I never said it was the full solution. OP asked for any way to ADS, or aim down sights, as a toggle. I offered a toggle for ADS, but without zoom. If that’s not good enough, then I don’t know what else to tell you other than “too bad”.

You did not answer his question either, as there is no ADS toggle.
By tapping the aim button you can toggle between aiming down the sights and not aiming down the sights. Zoom is not a requirement for ADS which literally stands for aim down sights.
You’re not getting the issue here. It should be possible to toggle ads with decreased fov without holding down the button for minutes.
This will probably not work for anyone not using a “gaming” mouse. But there is a workaround that isn’t pretty.
I got a Logitech G403 and as per usual has a gaming software to configure macros and the most relevant performance increase, RGB lights… What I did was set up a Macro on this software that automatically detects when the game is in the foreground and switches profiles accordingly to the active game. This means, that if I Alt+Tab and check a browser or anything else, the macro won’t function.
Every software looks different but they are all essentially the same.
- Make sure you manually add “enlisted.exe” on the profile so the software knows when it goes into foreground. You know, so that the macro actually works only when the game is up and running.
- Create the macro. Check A through D down below.
- Assign the macro to RMB by dragging it from the list on the left.
A) When you click on Create Macro, name it whatever you want.
B) Make sure the macro is set to “TOGGLE”, so that it repeats itself until you press it again.
C) Click on the Plus button and select the option that says something along the lines of “Record Input”. Right Click once and then stop recording your input. Select and delete the “RMB Up”, after all we want the macro to hold RMB by itself.
D) Save it and then assign it.
In case you do not own a “Gaming Mice”, the alternative is to install a software called “AutoHotkeys” and make a script that does the same thing. There is a reddit thread about it.
I know, a bit late to the party but then again, Gaijin still hasn’t fixed this yet.
That’s not doable for every gaming mouse unfortunately. AutoHotkey runs third party scripts and some games ban it, any info on Gaijin’s stance on that program?
