After testing it out in the practice room, it seems capable of setting pz3 and pz4 on fire and actually doing damage to them, unlike every other campaigns aircraft mounted cannons for some reason… So how good is it when the cannon hits an airplane? Worth using over the Yak? Too bad it has nearly no way of dealing with infantry.

It’s one few planes with functional anti-tank capabilities.
I find it good in practice but from what I seen and heard from friends it’s even better in battle. Cuz you will likely kill the crew.
I hope it will be added to the upcoming tech tree.
Interesting. Everytime I tested it in practice, it felt underwhelming. It’s canon seems to shoot HE shells! So vs tanks, it’s meh.
But I could be mistaken.
I haven’t tried it vs other planes thought… it doesn’t have much ammo, but I suppose 37mm HE is enough to vaporize other planes, I guess?

Heya ! It’s very effective ! 57mm pen at 100 m & 42mm at 500m. It destroys every tank in moscow easily. Ammo for 37mm NS-37 is only AP-T but against planes it’s not a problem since you either instantly destroy a wing or kill the crew. Would definitely recommend as a fighter/anti-tank plane.

Even if the cannon is AP-T it’s no problemo against planes (if you hit of course 
). It will demolish the enemy plane instantly when hit.
They highly recommend it. And I want it so badly.
Its a good plane it use a 57mm and 37mm cannon good for kill everything on the field from soldier to tank, withaut forget plane and bomber

It’s funny! It DOES work as a ground assault plane, which is really nice. It does not make enemy tanks explode immediately like your friends said, but it leave them so utterly crippled and crew less, that they always burn out and explode after a short while. up to pz4F2 (which is to say all axis tanks in Moscow).
I also used it on enemy planes and, as expected, you point, burst a salvoe, and dodge tail and wing parts that got clipped… It must be used in very high altitude to keep energy advantage, then will dispatch anything. Might even replace my funny clown I-17!
