And yes, I have bought very few Garands for the Pacific and prefer the 1903.

Battle Rifles are for real soldiers.
Bolt actions are included.

AS noted in the article - the term only applies to auto- and semi-auto because it was only necessary to make a distinction when assault rifles using intermediate cartridges became common.

no need to refer to bolt action rifles as ā€œbattle riflesā€ - because they WERE all real men using them by definition :slight_smile:
