shows I’m Br 5 still but all my weapons are downgraded to BR2. Clicking on the change soldier or squad lineup is the only way to refresh it. it’s like this game is trying to make bugs pop up.

Are you sure you didn’t have a soldier with BR5 weapon or accidentally left the join any team button checked?
This is the first time I heard of this bug.

it happened to me in similar way, sometimes pre-sets don’t load even if you click them, I was in a game today br 5 when some soldiers have br 2 stuff and I can tell you they where checked twice and look br 5, when I end game they appeared with br 5 stuff again

It’s bug, look at start battle button and BR depiction of lineup at the top centre. It clearly says BR2 and queue BR1-3.
