back in the first normandy test, we had the Mk.h.42, which it was an earlier version of the Mp44. probably a prototype.
nontheless it was present.
and the americans had thompsons.
along side m1 rockets and pazerfaust.
they have been taken out because they were going to reworked. and i believe we will eventually get them.
the reason why we currently don’t have them, it’s because ( people suspect ) that those current italian and british weapons are getting tested so that we can give feedbacks, the devs will tweak them, and eventually be used for the tunin campaign.

Hopefully they will not be seen in Tunisia … A little to early I think for them but should defiantly be seen in Normandy and Berlin … I would think any time frame from late 43 to the end of the war …
i don’t know about you, but in this game time travelers does not exist.
( despite the mg42 in the moscow campaign ).
so it’s quite obvious they are not gonna be in the tunin campaign.
i’m sure they will come.
I’d also suspect the MKB 42 and AVS 36 at some point to hit the live game for moscow or other early campaigns

it depends what do you need to hear to know. because unfortunately, i don’t and i cannot remember things that i haven’t seen. ( such as american weapons ).
but, if you play as american, you can test the thompson there.
but keep in mind that those are not going to be final. considering that the thompson still use tracers from alpha. ( alpha of 2017/6 )
So the only difference between .30 Carbine and 7.92×33mm Kurz is 0.2 damage? Then it’s only some kind of more stable M2 Carbine.
yeah, you needed a few bullets to kill someone, but the recoil was almost none.
So in the future it will be mainly mg42 vs Thompson with 100-round drum magazine, just like in Moscow…(PPD vs MG34)
i hope not.
but after all, we might see thompsons with drum mags.
i just hope that it’s going to be only a special weapon.

It sounds a little bit unrealistic. In reality it has definitely more recoil than Mps, and within 200m almost the same damage like action rifle.
I hope they don’t add drum mags for Thompson … the US didn’t use them in combat because they jammed to frequently and were difficult, to keep clean …
They used them early war primarily in the Pacific and the British used drum fed Thompson most notably in Africa
