Well, there is no secret in balance struggling between team of bots and team of generals-marshals.
And yes, that’s REALLY hard to implement a proper generic AI for bots, but what we actually can do is to give bots aimbot(KEKW) that scales with amount of bot’s in the team.
So a team with 9 real players and 1 bot will receive the same stupid bot we have right now, but a team with 1 real player and 9 bots will receive bots-cheaters those will prefire any enemy within their range of fire.
You may say that this is overkill but c’mon, 1 play with 9 bot’s have either ABSOLUTELY no chances in defense or misery chances in attack(only if bots team will face drunk or first time players) to win.
Bots still don’t know how to use engineer or how to place them according to other players(e.g. spread themselves) so any experienced player still will be able to use wide variety of AoE stuff(e.g. grenades, flamethrowers…) to kill those bots.
Also it will make games of experienced players a bit funnier instead of generic routine for several minutes when they facing team (almost) full of bots.
