Any fellow Valentine users out there?

I don’t have any valid reasoning for liking this tank other than

  1. Its not a giant like the M3
  2. Looks like what would come to mind when thinking about a stereotypical light tank
  3. It’s a British tank in Soviet service
  4. BESA

well, it’s a light tank.

which means will be somewhat more relevant than it is now after the merge.

i believe it will be a tank that will appear at tier 1 / 2.

where it will most likely face panzer IIIs and italian tanks.

somewhat great against italian tanks, not so much against panzer IIIs.

although, from what i gather, it doesn’t struggle to pen turrets ( albe it, inconsistencies still appears as the norm )

Nah, it’s one of the few premiums tanks/ground vehicles I do not plan to buy. Same goes for that rocket thingy and wheely thingy in Moscow.

Seems really underperforming to me. Maybe after merge, they could be used for trolling BA lovers on low BRs.

Yes.

I have only seen 1 in several hundred games of moscow. It might be more popular if it wasn’t among the most expensive premium squads. I think its bland and much prefer the M3.

i have a friend who bought it and they only use valentine

Interestingly the Soviets used it as a light tank due to small size and small gun - fits well with their other tanks in that it has good armour for that type of vehicle.

Its armor is kinda good except for maybe F2s and the BESA is the best Soviet MG outside of M1919 of the Red Sherman.
But three plebs and the awful British 40 QF gun are not that small as well.
I prefer BA-11 Premium anyway.

I wouldnt mind using it (just for the sake of it)…but Im just annoyed Russians have it and the Brits dont lol. Same goes for Lewis gun and Churchill (But since brits will be Allies after merge churchill will be fixed)

If the Brit’s had access to the Valentine, my dream front to use it on would definitely be the pacific, it’s armor is decent and it’s 2 pounder would be more than enough to take on Japanese armor, the Australians used them to decent effect against the Japanese (along with Matilda’s) so it would definitely be cool to use them there.

I happen to be a valentine enjoyer. And because of all this “lack of valentine” I will only use it when I play moscow now lol

Australia used M3 Grants and Matilda II’s.

New Zealand used Valentines - the only place they saw combat was Battle of the Green Islands in 1944. 25 x 2 pdr Valentine III and 9 CS tanks were used - the CS was a NZ modification of a Valentine III with a 3" howitzer taken from Australian Matilda CS tanks.
