Any BP guns you believe should be in the tech tree?

Also we can agree soviet had already too much lend lease, they should use their stuff and give back the Valentine to the Allies TT :sob:

Yeah, Allies should really get their own weapons and vehicles.

Was just about to say they should be TT. Maybe move the type 10 to BR 3 and have the late in the TT at BR 4.

They could just add France as a faction and then the FM24/29, Lebel, UD-42, and Chauchat could be added as tech tree guns for the French. They could do the same with the Lahti and Suomi’s for the Finns if Finland ever got a tech tree though I doubt that would ever happen.

The Johnson rifle was a Premium Squad weapon for the US in Normandy long before it was ever added as a tech tree gun for the US in the Pacific. So Premium Squad Weapons, BP Weapons, Event Weapons, and Event Squad Weapons could all be added to tech trees.

I bought four of these and they are the only level two MG’s I use. Until DF moves a BAR to level two (which will never happen) I’ll keep using it. However, this SHOULD be a tech tree MG. I also think the Japanese Hotchkiss MG along with the Russian RPK1943 should be tech tree. I would also move the BP1929 Thompson to tech tree.

It would be better if they could reappear in the form of weapons obtained through activities, although that would make DF lazy to a great extent. If some new factions are to be introduced, it won’t be a problem to put some of their weapons into the technology tree.

I think some of those very unused semi autos for BR1 and such should be TT, or the artillery Luger being a primary weapon, just so that new players dont need to play with bolt actions if they don’t want to.

Those should definitely be in the tech tree.
For their own factions.

You mean Subfactions, real factions aren’t up for debate anymore.

I’m sorry for a derailing but I feel some guns like the Gweher 1888 or some allied weapon could be for a good Volksturm premium squad or event

This isn’t derailing, this is the kind of stuff we are talking about.
I guess the option is there to turn them into premium guns just as M2A1 carbine was turned into an event gun but I don’t know how many people would be interested in buying such squads

But why bsa thompson? The devs could just make 20 round m1a1 or m1928a1 for usa tech tree instead

Due to the weight of the Thompson, 20 round mags were actually really popular among US soldiers but we already have 2 20 round Tommy BP guns and a premium, M3A1 grease gun is BR2 so Im actually not sure if its necessary at all.

Its just another copy-paste and would make Thompson meta from BR2 to BR4 even though we need more British SMG for variety.

In my opinion it is neccessary. M3a1 shoots too slow and many people dont like using it due to that. Lanchester on the other hand is british and it doesnt fit well for american troops. 20 round thompson would be perfect 3rd option

There are multiple “3rd option”

I don’t see how copy-paste is necessary, its like suggesting 10 round FG42 for BR4.

Yeah, I only mentioned the BP1929 since the original post was what BP weapons should be tech tree. I really wouldn’t care which Thompson, but they need a level two Thompson. To be honest, I don’t even think they should make the magazine smaller since most of the level two Soviet and German smg’s have 32 round mags or more, and 40 rounds in the German Beretta M1. Hell, I would even add the level two Hyde smg to the tech tree.

And I am going to stay on the BAR train as well as they need one for level two, or the WAR, along with the Soviet RPK1943 with an expanded mag from 15 to 20 or 25 rounds would be good additions to the level two tech tree.

BSA Thompson, Chatellerault M24/29, Type Hei (10 Rounds), Type Hei Late, Type11 SMG 1930, De Liste, Supressed M3A1, M2A1 Carbine, Bren Mk. I 100, Erma Silenced, Mkb42 (W), MG35/36, Silenced PPD, M/26, maybe RPK 1943

I mean maybe for the fun of it cause we can’t also forget that some people out there did spend Gold orders on these weapons or spent actual gold on these weapons just for it to be put in the TT but like you said that you hope it doesn’t cause a huge controversy since darkflow has been doing this for a while like the engineer squads for Normandy campaign or the Rising 50 I just feel like the reasonable thing to do is to just make them as event weapons

Many guns were premium in one campaign and progression in another campaign, it was fair until the merge.
