At this point I would rather get a shirt for my squads saying
“Nazi Germany had an excessive small arms programm and all I got was another italian SMG”.
I mean, I always appreciate new content, but at this point my armory is flooded with SMGs. Maybe next time we’ll get some Panzerfäuste, or even Panzerschrecks 
Germans already have just about every conceivable variant of Mauser in existence, and you’re still complaining.
Meanwhile I got a 4-star Ross and several Enfields in my U.S. Army roster.
Dunno the Beretta M38 seems really interesting. Quite happy that they are going to put it in the game. Might be the best smg in the war, would love to see how the devs implement it.
And all of them are really modeled better than the American smgs. The Sten truly is rough. The Lanchester is decent but the sights can be confusing sometimes.
The Sten currently fires from a closed bolt despite it being a open bolt SMG. Looks pretty awkward

STG is modelled and present, just not currently implemented.
Do the Smg count as MP or has it his own class… because it isnt a MP, it is the first real Assault Rifl… i mean @ the end of the war the Svoiets had first Kalaschmikov, coult be fair.
And also it would make sense when they would be a own class.
