Anniversary of the October Revolution

I really hope that the official will present a small event today to bring us some unique souvenirs (such as special tank painting or medals)

They didn’t even have a Battle of Moscow event last year with one of the major events being the 7th of November 1941 parade considering its the 80th anniversary too. What’s even more concerning is how Stalingrad is treated on this game with the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad where it badly needs a major update.

No, this is a WW2 game, so what is the point of celebrating October revolution? Do you also want to celebrate US Independence Day, Unification of Germany, Meiji restoration and other that is not related to WW2?

there is 2 reasons for made it:

  • we have all weapons for it in game already [only horses are missing]
  • i’m think biggest player base from ex-ussr countries do they know what is it and for what

The OP suggestion is not creating something like modern warfare, he is just suggesting a event like d day event that give unique thing by completing special mission.

Read carefully what I said, I am not saying that day have no meaning, but it is not suitable for a WW2 game.

Didn’t this happen before WW2? I dunno, I think it’s fine to have some such events in the game, but it should be related to WW2.

tankie vibes up in here ಠ_ಠ

The 1941 October Revolution Parade is one of the major events during the Battle of Moscow where the participants of that parade went straight the front. A daring move to hold a parade when the Germans are close to Moscow.
