But its not useless, for you maybe but myself and others can imagine some great spots to quickly flank and attack.
i think we actually agree on this.
i am arguing that you could do it if you are skilled. but most people couldnt. the great finnish people are legends, i am referring to the avarage german soldier and poor russian conscripts here. and that you would most likely be better off dropping to the floor and taking aim
(but i still think they dont quite fit the small maps currently in game)

No idea how well germans did on skis, probably not too well. What comes to soviets during winter war fair share of them didnt know how to ski and had to be taught the very basics. Worth mentioning fact is that soviet army had ordered shir ton of skis and miraculously acquired them. They just were wrong type āsportingā skis that were little to none help in wilderness where was 0 prepared ski tracks.
Siberian conscripts with proper equipment were respected by finns tho.

I donāt see them with maps that arenāt even a kilometer big, maybe you should take a better look at the maps, as I already told you itās useless for moscow maybe you donāt know but the campaigns will only have 40 levels for the beta and we are already at 32 therefore for moscow it is useless but for a future winter war it is a good idea
The t26 is dragging around a Maxim mg on a sled on the picture. I really, REALLY want the Maxim in game. Iād rather have that than the mg42 on sandbags, even if itās less practical. Could allow longer prolonged fire to compensate? I want itā¦
Iāve got a special place in my heart for this weapon. Many here prefer the iconic mg42ā¦ I cannot explain why for me itās the Maxim.

Oh no adding new content to a campaing that could have it work and could be useful and make the sandbox so much more fun we cant have that now can we? Like what is your fucking point with skis you could traverse that 200 metres distance 2x faster than on foot, flanking would be much easier and you would be faster meaning harder to hit. It would fit in well into something like fortified district and monastery and vysokovo, and they would make a new map probably too. Winter war will likely not come in a long time if ever

Dude i already said earlier that if you wouldnt want to use them fine by me. Others and me would like to use them. I am a person who likes to flank around and this tool would help me do that. Its also really badass skiing with a PPSH. I can accept your opinion that you like to just run into an objective with no flanking or using other tools. I do too but adding more tools to play around into the sandbox is always nice and im sorry if that is insulting to you that some people want to see ski troops. You think theyll be useless? Fine but i dont and no one will force you to use them

I know very well what you want to do with the skii and I have no problems but I would prefer as I have already repeated that this was present in the winter wars, to give uniqueness to the campaign and then later transfer it to the others where possible, as in Tunisia with the showel, given that such a change to the maps takes time and work, and i donāt want skii to end up like bike in tunisia

The hills are not that high (except the hill with the last cp), the first two defense lines are full of czech hegdehogs and trenches. Also the second cp is covered by trees too (where is no snow) ,the fourth cp is the village and the skis would be hard to use on the last cp since the attackers have to āclimbā the hill (speaking by the perspective of the attackers).
