I reckon, gold orders for weapons are the most important because they give you unique guns. Gold vehicle orders are nice to have because they can give you certain vehicles earlier or give you fully upgraded vehicles. But the gold soldiers? Really the only thing I can see using them for is getting Italian/British versions of certain class levels that are typically German/American. Why not make them a tad bit more appealing by, say, adding female soldiers to the roster of gold soldiers? Be it an actual famous Soviet female combatant, medics, or just an option for a randomly generated female soldier.
Seems simple enough, no? Even if you were to argue historical consistency, is it truly that wild when there could be a team of Audie Murphys out there?
In a game called Enlisted,
Where players fight and persist,
It’s a shame to admit,
Only females are behind a paywall permit.
The soldiers on the front line,
Are all male, with no women to shine,
It’s a frustrating sight to see,
A clear lack of equality.
In war, women have fought with pride,
But in Enlisted, they seem to hide,
Behind a paywall, a barrier that’s unfair,
It’s time to give them access, and let them share.
It’s time to break down the wall,
And give women a chance to brawl,
Let them join the ranks, side by side,
In this game, let’s not divide.
That’s like the only faction in WW2 that used female soldiers in combat besides various guerilla groups.
I mean I suppose you could argue on the fact of “the game doesn’t really follow historical accuracy”, but they do try to make an attempt at realistic history.
(looking at you Vanguard)
I would much prefer if Gold Order soldiers remained based on historical figures, and just had their effectiveness increased by getting unique base perks, and dual backpack/secondary weapon slots.
