An idea about buff explowsive pack or tnt charge

So. I think it is possible to give different size of tnt or explowsive packs as utility tools in different levels after the merger. For example, a level 1 tnt only pack 100g(or more IDK just something that can crack level1 or level2’s tank open). and level 2 200g and so on. when explowsive packs are unlocked they start at 100g since they can are throwable(just make sure the throw distance match the weight and not something like 50g only for 5m or 1kg for 50m) and level 4 unlock 200g and 300g. Then in the final stage we end up something like 1kg tnt or 500-600g explowsive pack at the very end

No need to buff.
TNT-charges can kill every tank in this game.
Same goes with explosive packs.

Really? TNT charge is already hard to use in starlingrad. not to say how they work in berlin

Pls elaborate, what do you mean hard?

I kill any tank with it.

How do you kill Tiger with it ? If find them quite unreliable against this big cat, I don’t really know where to place them to get the best effect. On the contrary explosive pack placed under the hull are really effective, this is my go-to method to destroy them.

put it on tigers engine deck or under it and it will instantly die

As Forlorn said, they can already kill pretty much any tank in the game.

Personally, I don’t think they need buffs, but rather they need nerfs.
WHY?
I really don’t believe that standard infantry should have the ability to outright kill tanks like they do. Disable them (detrack them or take out the barrel) sure. However, it stops people from using AT soldiers as much, which their entire purpose is to KILL TANKS.

Most players think that TNT packs have a large spherical blast radius, when in reality the don’t. Most of the blast damage is focused upwards and some to the sides. Very little of it is actually going downward.

So to make full use of TNT, either try to get it underneath the tank (ESPECIALLY underneath where the ammo racks are located), under the edge of the turret, or even the part where the tracks meet the body. Any of those are pretty much guaranteed one-shot kills.

Just climbing on top and putting it there works against lighter armored tanks, but not heavier ones.

They bounce like volleyballs. I think that’s the core issue players are having with the TNT packs.

TNT-charges never bounce.

Explosions packs do however annoyingly bounces

My bad. I thought that’s what we were talking about :no_mouth:

I am pretty sure a hand grenade has more than 100g, bruh, satchel has over 3kg worth of TNT/explosive filler, enough to delete a bunker instead of a tank

I seemed to get killed in my tank by explosive packs more than anything else.

The bounce thing is totally bananas (for all grenades really). An underhand toss method would be really nice for throwables.
