An actually working way to make players leave less games

As ive explained in multiple videos, positive incentives are the optimal way to influence player behavior.
Having a nice looking win streak icon in the main menu that always reminds a player how many games he won in a row (and that resets to 0 when leaving a game early) would make player leave less games, especially when close to completing the 10-wins-in-a-row-challenge.

Ofc this is just one part, solving the core reasons why people leave games i.e. no map picking feature, bad map rotation pool, extreme team imbalance, 9-bots in team, retarded team mates etc. is essential, but this feature can be implemented in a few minutes and instantly make the game more fun.

I like the general concept. Maybe a win streak would implement a small silver boost, or tokens that could be spent on cosmetics?

This will only impact number and kd monekys so i don’t even care.

Game will always suffer from bad mm with how anti-player it is and how low the playerbase will be if it continues to be like that

Ironically, the “KD Monkeys” are usually players that avoid dying by sniping in the back of the map with scoped rifles or HE spamming in tanks. It distances them from objectives and ultimately reduces their win-rate. This game inherently rewards aggressive play through only objective-based game modes, as well as how score is rewarded.

I think a lot of players leave when there’s no hope for them to win, and there should be consideration to give players on the losing team some XP bonus if they do well enough (say top 1-3rd on their team), so a loss doesn’t feel like a waste of time. Maybe 25%?

Only when matches are somewhat balanced and you need to get on point to cap or defend it.

90% of games it’s HE spammers and triple sloted planes dominating scoreboard so hard they double/triple score with ease.

The game rewards you for spending money

This is like maybe a good idea, i don’t play for xp anymore anyway, but from all my xp grind it’s more chill to just play winning faction and don’t care.
To get top 3 in losing side You have to play vehicles or sweat balls with infantry when you have 0 support, yeah fun as hell. Like many i like a chanllange sometimes, but trying way harder only to still get 25% less xp would make most people just switch sides anyway

I totally agree with your assessment. I made a post very similar to this yesterday about how to know what exactly what your win streak is at (I had a win streak of AT least 8 or 9 but I wasn’t entirely sure. Of course my team got completely stomped the very next game I played so I didn’t complete “The Winner” achievement :rage:) and how to make this a more effective feature in game.

Wouldnt this be the win bonus 2.0 to incetivise even more faction stacking? This does not solve the problem that desertion causes.

win streak is absolutely bad idea. it would just encourage playing in stacks and faction stacking. if anything it will make game even worse.

if you want to implement rewards implement rewards for 10-50-100-500 non desertion streak, but also make rewards worth it for higher goals and have some failsafe for having shitty connection day or something.

Idk, one of those suggestions that probably wont affect the game all that much so why not.

But there should really be reward for staying in the game, other than tap on shoulder that you again endured a shitty game mode with absolute trash team.

The main reason why people desert is because there is shitty maps like the quarry, and monastery for example where the matches is always one sided. So yeah remove these maps or remaster them. Another reason is because confrontation is bad so yeah remove that too

that is only one of the reasons. other main reason for desertion is shitty faction balance so should we remove faction vs faction MM?

For Allies, sure nerf them

WE NEED BALANCE TEAMS, is 2 generals on enemy than 2 generals should also be in our team… if they hae 3 console playrs then we should have 3 also

The one thing I learned in the business world. INCENTIVES work, PUNSHMENT does not.
