I was messing around with my snipers this morning and found a bug: Any of my snipers who have 2 main weapons (i.e. two sniper rifles or a sniper rifle & a bolt action rifle) are depleting ammunition in BOTH rifles at the same time. In other words, while I’m firing one of the rifles, the other rifle is also losing ammunition.
Is anybody else experiencing this issue?
Check your weapons. I bet they’re using the same ammo. If you have two guns with the same ammo type, then they share the total amount for that soldier.
It’s hard for a Sniper to have different ammo types, but with Radiomen, be sure to have a carbine as well as a rifle to ensure maximum ammo count.
I’ve had double guns on these snipers for a very long time and this has never happened before. I always had full ammo on both weapons with no problems in the past.
Same ammo types definitely share. You might just not have noticed it.
I will check it out for you when I play in a bit, just to double check. But I’m currently 99% sure the above is true.

It’s easy to miss. Especially with the Time-to-Kill ratio that goes on.
But yeah, same ammo type is shared.
Well, if that’s true, it certainly doesn’t make any sense.
Well, it kinda does, in a way.
But is it fair? No.
