Ammo compatibility and weapon rate of fire update

Let’s say you have a PPSh and you walk over a allies PPSh, you should pick up its drums or box magazines.

So let’s say you have a AVS-36, SVT-38, SVT-40, AKT-40, or AVT-40 and you walk over a team mates Mosin with 8 rounds, you should automatically take the ammo and load a 5 round mosin stripper clip and 3 loose rounds into the top of the gun if you have only 1 magazine empty.

Even the fedorov can be loaded with stripper clips but it uses ammo that no other gun uses.

Also the PPD-34/38 doesn’t use PPSh drums and holds 73 instead of 71.

The PPD-40 and PPSh can use the same drums but can have interchangeability problems.

PPSh-41 should have a rate of fire of 1250 rpm.

AVS-36 should have a rate of fire of 800 rpm.

MG-42 should have a rate of fire of 900 and 1250.

MG-34 should have a rate of fire of 800-900 to 1100.

MP-43/1 should have a rate of fire of 490.

PTRD-41 should open the bolt during recoil.

M1 Garand needs the lever pressed to eject a loaded clip.

M1 Carbine and M2 Carbine and even AVS-36 has to much recoil.

MP-38 should have less recoil than MP-40.

That might be good. But dont make it automatically pick up ammo. Like make a different button for it. When hovering over weapon you could use F to pick up the gun or P or a similar key to strip its ammo

Well at least make it possable to pick up ammo without getting skullfucked.

I mean, some of the weapons can do this. Armaguerra rifle is compatible with 6.5mm Carcano en-bloc clips. The same with the VG.2 being compatible with the G 43 magazines. But seeing the G 41(W) on the shooting range and Mauser stripper clips labeled as “Gewehr 41 magazine” next to identical stripper clips labeled as “Kar98k AP magazine” and being not interchangable is kinda absurd.

And since we’re talking about reload animations, MG 13 has a bolt hold-open. With a bolt release button, like the AR-15. So the animation should be quicker and end by pressing the button right behind the magwell and not by racking the charging handle with the other hand.
And don’t even get me started on the MP 40/I long reload when soldier rips the magwell off of the gun.
