I mean, it’s a crate that literally write grenade and TNT on it.
It should explode when not using “Destroy structures” when destroy it.
The same should be true for airdrop supplies.
TNT is valued partly because of its insensitivity to shock and friction, with reduced risk of accidental detonation compared to more sensitive explosives such as nitroglycerin. TNT melts at 80 °C (176 °F), far below the temperature at which it will spontaneously detonate, allowing it to be poured or safely combined with other explosives. TNT neither absorbs nor dissolves in water, which allows it to be used effectively in wet environments. To detonate, TNT must be triggered by a pressure wave from a starter explosive, called an explosive booster.[13]
so no, short of pure nitro most explosive is not shock sensitive
Its also an ammo dump though, So a lot of rounds cooking off could be pretty dangerous, and a cool looking/sounding effect
if it burns for minutes at a lot higher temps then wood in open air, so i guess a flame thrower or airplane fuel tank bomb could cook them off
An explosive booster is a sensitive explosive charge that acts as a bridge between a (relatively weak) conventional detonator and a low-sensitivity (but typically high-energy) explosive such as TNT.
It doesn’t say that only an explosive booster can detonate TNT, a strong enough energy source (such as another nearby bundle of TNT) will also detonate it
close enough to detonate would create overlapping explosions not a larger explosion, or not a much larger area of effect
I don’t know if explosion is a good idea. But simply ammo cooking off would be good enough imo.
