We should get the M5 Halftrack with a higher troop capacity, and if we want extra spicy, make it the Halftrack variant with 1 center mounted M2 facing forward and 2 M1919’s facing rearward

Just give the M3 or M2 with the front armor flipped down so they can’t be killed by rifle caliber munitions.
Both M3 and M5 have 10-12 capacity - you can find both numbers for both vehicles.
M5 is also significantly more vulnerable since it has worse armor - hardened on M3, Homogenous on M5.
And it is slightly less mobile since it is heavier, because they tried to make that worse armor better by making it thicker - but it’s still not as effective as the thinner hardened armor
M2 and M3 can be penetrated by rifle caliber AP ammo at 200 yards.

In game all non-AT weapon have something like 1 mm of armor pen, US halftrack should be fine. HMG, will shred them though.
