Throughout the war, many countries tried out different concepts for delivering troops to the battlefield with armored vehicles.
Ram Mk II Kankgaroo Conversion (BR IV-V)
In the Normandy campaign, Canadian units experiment with converting vehicles such as the m7 priest, m3 lee, sherman, and ram tanks into APCs in order to safely move around troops. For this suggestion, I’m proposing the use of the ram conversion, as it is very nice looking and has an encapsulated 50. or 30. Cal turret. However the placement and implantation of said weaponry varies, as these were field improvisations.
Vollkettenaufklärer 38 prototype.(BR IV-V)
I don’t know too much about this vehicle, however it’s based upon the hetzer chassis. From the looks of it, it’s almost identical to the Hetzer AA conversion, minus the armament and rear of the venicle. The armament (mg-42) is rather light compared to that of the ram, however the armor thickness of the volkettenauflarer would probably be significantly stronger.
