Amateurs, strategy & tactics, Professionals, logistics

It’s a famous quote or sentiment attributed to a Marine general - "Amatuers talk strategy and tactics, professionals talk logistics…does it apply in Enlisted??

I’m going out on a limb and suggest there’s one pair of traits that are kind of apporpriate"amateurs" rush for the nearest cap point, “professionals” rush for the nearest sheltered location they can build a spawn.

I’d the best is a bit of both. You want to build a safe spawn then go to the best position to hold / take a point. For example on open points build a spawn in a safe place then try to take the buildings around the point then attack / hold it

well, both are needed.

because the first cannot provide distraction for the second to build rally points.

and the second cannot build anything if there is no distraction and you are forced to face well entranched defenders and try to sweap them away on your own. and it gets harder to place rally if you are trying to survive and try to kill.

so in enlisted, everyone plays a major role even if different.

but that’s what i think of course.

"Tactically impaired "?

Be a bit more positive - come on… “Victimly enhanced”

“Ballistically exposed”

Sounds obscene!! :open_mouth:

If logistics is rally point, then…

Yes. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
