The weapon just doesn’t sound or feel like a sub machine gun that fires over 1000 rpm.
The PPSH nails it, but this one isjust doesn’t hit the mark.
I really think they should at least attempt to find a way to make it feel meatier, because it just isn’t satisfying to use currently.
A little bug report as well, but the back of the OVP’s magazine is open to see how much ammo you have left, and when you reload it, the fresh magazine doesn’t have any bullets in it. They just magically appear after you finish the reload animation.
is an italian assault machine gun from the first world war, if you used the beretta M18 in normandy, you must have seen that it really takes skill, to fix the shot before firing, it is not a weapon for everyone and the beretta M1 / M3842 remains the best smg of the axis for now
(ovp not tested on my account but on my friend’s ps5) ovp like the beretta18 is a trench weapon, it has a similar rate of fire to the russian ppd, but its magazine is only 25 rounds, which makes it difficult to be used at long range (but there is additional semi-automatic fire) as bullets are wasted, having used both I can say that with a little training you can hit distant targets, the two weapons excel in close combat, eliminate any enemy instantly, they are the classic BRTTTTTTT weapons, as you will have understood both are not weapons that everyone can use require you to adjust the shot before firing and the fire must not be continuous but in bursts, I strongly advise not to use them if you do not have the skill necessary as there are simpler and more precise weapons to use.
so the OVP and the Berretta 1918 perform exactly the same?
Idk, I really like using the Berretta m1918 in Normandy. Yes, it shares the same advantages and disadvantages as the box mag PPD in Moscow but it’s the only quick firing SMG Germans get and it’s very useful when cleaning bunkers and houses. I like using it
