Always show player names in game for real players (on your team only)

Currently, the only way to see if a bot is being controlled by a real person is if they have a player name above them in game. This only shows during Lone FIghter, or when you are grouped up with people. Having the name appear above the player model they are actually controlling allows me to know if the one other person with me on the objective is a bot, or a real player. This should only be used for your own team, as the way you handle a situation changes if you can tell before hand if your moving in on a bunch of bots, or players. or 1 player surrounded by bots typically.

You should never have this information.

I guess coming from RO/RS2/Insurgency, I’m used to this style of game having some from of team communication, or something encouraging teamplay.

Sitting on the capture zone and defending it sure seems like it encourages teamplay.

I never understand why people come here saying this game should be more like some other game that I like a lot … If you like that game so much, go play it …

And if your favorite game is no longer around maybe that’s why. Maybe because the mechanics that you think are so great wasn’t really that great after all?

The FPS genre has been done so many different ways. I for one enjoy this game because it’s different from all the rest.

I would go a step further and say that it should also show enemy nameplate if it’s real player - but only if he kills you.

Let me explain:
How are you going to be able to report cheaters in the future if you can’t tell if it’s the AI, or a real player? Think about that.

I get where your coming from but both name plates/team voice chat have become the norm in games, because there’s really no downside to having it. Players can opt out of voice chat if they don’t want to use it, or can hide HUD elements/playernames if that breaks there immersion. Saying go play other games because of basic norms in gaming that don’t exist for no real reason aside from they haven’t been developed yet, is a lazy argument. I’m saying they would enhance the current already solid experience, and would like that point being out there when they consider additions to a game I’m playing a beta for. I’m not attacking the game at all, or suggesting it be more like other games. I play this game because the bolt action game play is more enjoyable than other games. This game is also more optimized and runs a hell of a lot better than said other games.

yeah i had a game where a teammate is trolling

he placed barbed wire on friendly rally points and i cant see his name to report him
