Build stuff with your engineer! You don’t have to have a ton of skill to be a good player.
If you’re new, keep playing the game! It takes some practice to use some of the mechanics of vehicles and your infantry.
Try your best to have fun! Sweating at a game takes away from its fun, and kinda ruins it. Having fun makes for much more enjoyable gameplay.
Some campaigns are more populated with bots, so their a good place to practice and get better! Some campaigns just seem to have more bots on one team, while the other side is filled with actual players. Playing on the side with actual players allows you to learn on the fly against “special” players (AI) and sharpen your skills.
Whenever my grandmother sends a text message:
Can you screen record an entire match of you playing and then upload to YouTube? Anyone with a google account can do this.
Be prepared though, will be a lot of “you suck at this, you suck at that” if the problem is you’re always 10th in the rankings. Please be prepared that any critiscm will be there intended to help.
okay, did you built your rally point somewhere near the frontline? don’t build the too close where enemy will swarm or shoot at (too much) though. it will either deactivate your rally point or the enemy wwould just straight up go and destroy your rally point.
when using tanks, uh, don’t go forward solo. despite being a hulking mass of steel, the enemy will gleefully spare a explosive pack thing to blow you up.
keep moving around if you’re at the frontline with a tank, a moving tank is annoying to det charge.
also everyone else here that aren’t (only) insulting you offered a lot of useful tips too.
you might want to go to practice round if your issue is being unused to the weapon aiming thing. not all ironsight is the same and some might throw your aim off because you’re unused to them.
still, the main point is to have fun, so… are you having fun?
You get 6 pts every time enemy trips on your barbed wire.
i thiunk i’ll do that…??? but really since i posted ive been coming in 11-12 now so yea i do suck so im just gonna have fun then
thanx fer the input ill try it as much as possible good ideas.
Btw, some easy ways to rank high (and lvl stuff quickly) are:
- Always have a spawn point built in a location where team mates use them. Easy 1000+ points extra by the end of the match if you maintain it well.
- Fly aircraft and bomb players/tanks.
- Fly aircraft and intercept the AI bombers. It’s like 1300 points to take down 5 of them on one run.
- Sit in a tank a decent distance from the battle and machine gun everyone down. Building an mg nest can do the same.
- Play sniper at a good distance so all your kills are long range kills. Also try to be somewhere on the flank without being exposed to the oncoming enemy.
Some less easy ways but just general good playstyle:
- Always flank. Whether in defense or offense. Always position yourself away from the fight before you engage.
- Take lotsa cover, don’t just stand there. If you’re out of cover and get fired at sprint for any hard cover first and break line of sight before engaging yourself. Don’t go anywhere where there isn’t any hardcover nearby.
- Don’t let your bots get slaughtered right away. Your squad in a good position will get points too and is an instant respawn for you to continue the fight and catch the person that just killed you because now you know where he is.
- Learn the maps. Anticipate where enemies are expected to be. Then avoid/attack them depending whether you’re actively flanking/engaging at that time.
- gut gud. Learn to be quick on the trigger and accurate. Learn the effective engaging distances for your equipped weapon and then adjust playstyle accordingly.
When did df add bots in forum ?
