It’s well known that axis soldiers are in truth, lizards, and soviet ones, crab men.

The ammo crate meant resupplying (refill ammo box like AA/AT Gun) not replenishing ammo for enemy weapon
Oh, I must have interpreted it wrong then. Easily done when I don’t have my glasses to hand. Lol!

Pervitin, perhaps? 
Currently all medkits in the game have German writings inside so other factions shouldn’t even be able how to use their bandaids.

Eh, I picked the ammo box with a mortarman and it still self-destructed.

Yea if you refill ammo for mortar the box will be destroy and you have to build it again
Same way for AT weapon too I believe
