Take , for exemple, the new Mg 39 Squad. It comes withe the Jäger Regiment 49 it was used during the start of operation Barbarossa and i think it would fit nice in my Br 3 Lineup but sadly its Br 4 due to its weapon the Mg 39.
So I think we should be able to change the main Weapons of event squads. Like with the Russian Paratropper squad.
And only the squad that came with the weapons will be able to use them.
Bad idea. There will be no incetive to grind events.
Why not ? You still get the weapones and the squad. The only change is that you would be able to change the weapones for weapones that fit your playstile and Br.
There are many old event squads and an option to change their equipment would affect the balance.
Someone can replace 6 M1A1 carbines with 2 Stingers + 4 Brownings M1919A6.
This would be a drastic change for a balance.

Because USRR has only two squads of paratroopers, other factions have 3 or 4.
Paratroopers aint even that good. They are very situational and they are usually only effective on attack. They cant use backpacks and can be easily killed before they land by anybody with a flamethrower, grenade or even bolt action
Nah, it’s more of a map dependant, if you have a good behind frontline play area, you can do a lot of funny things with them (dropping on tanks or doing wild flanks even on attackers), but if greyzone starts right behind the point, it’s a waste of time and tickets to paradrop, because you either can make there quicker on foot, or get blasted out of the sky by trying hotzone drop.
