this will also bring more variety for the soviets and the game, rather than just fighting Germans all the time. US is great atm since they can also take on 2 enemies at once. The more enemies the better, same also applies to UK vs Japs and other nations. They did fight each other historically, it just makes sense to do so. and not only limiting it for one nation

To be frank as a Japan main, japan is quite strong right now, and have enough tools to deal with Shermans and T-34 even if they were to be added. Not to mention japan has bazookas as well and suicide mines
And yeah it did happen, they did fight each other and were enemies, as they were part of the Axis power and had conflicts
Uhm, nothing can beat T-34 just to correct that. Japan has nothing that can penetrate T-34 from anywhere. If Battleship Yamato and a T-34 would meet up, the T-34 would sink it and continue to conquer Pacific Ocean by itself.
Lets not even mention that IL-2 is impenetrable by twin 20MM Cannons, so the japanese water-scoot wouldnāt literally have enough force to drop one, even if it would crash into it.
They do, this game has a thing called Explosive Packs, one explosive packs through the gaps of the tank on the bottom will 1 hit kill it, not to mention Bazookas. and japan has the best anti tank rifles atm in the entire game
heck i get killed all the time in my T-34 on moscow by germans with early weaponary and no rockets, so dont make it sound like its impossible. i have t-34s and used them on moscow, it dies very easily and get blown up all the time. when t-34 were added on moscow german mains crys about how unbalanced and unfair it is, yet ppl still kill it with no issues
if its too much for japan they can easily add other variants, but soviets should have the upper advantage in tanks easily. saying japan has nothing to counter it is just silly
Expack makes 0 damage to T-34 even if itās fed to it from the drivers hatch. It has no literal effect on a T-34 from: sides, top, under, or behind of the tank.
Only GRB-39 is effective against T-34.
Also Axis doesnāt have any rockets in Moscow Campaign, you sure that IL-2 didnāt blow your T-34 up?
I have yet to state that Iāve seen a T-34 spawn 6 months ago and it was bombarded day and night and yet nothing has even made a dent to itās paint surface, and yet you claim you die with it all the time? What do you do? Drive it to the river? Itās also a versatile submarine so donāt think so.
Iām flabbergasted by the idea that you couldāve ever spawned one and died in it. Like fucking how? You spawned one and went visit your grandma or came back and it was dead?
I donāt know where you get this shit from but T-34 has never been destroyed by any axis means ever. Soviet records clearly state that itās a legend, and legends never die.
Also thereās not a AT-rifle to date which could penetrate stalinium plate of T-34. Westerners died to drill through it in 2020 but gave up.
There is no variant ever made, anything, that could compete against T-34 on Japanās arsenal. The tank withstands a direct volley from fucking yamato dude, itās like that in WarThunder too. M1A2 Abrams canāt beat it in WT.

We have had this fun fun mode quite few times first was invincible T-50 against german armor which pretty much was only destroyable by detpacks.

Later ofc there was the T-34 in moscow which apparently due to lack of players received somewhat proper counter F2.
Nothing is impossible as long as the user of alot better equipment is absolute idiot and drives T-34 nexto cap point where detpacks can deal with it.
Problems arises when theres that one guy who has IQ above hes shoesize and uses the T-34 on long range where its by far superior than anything germans have.
Ofc excluding F2 that somewhat can deal with T34 at long range regardless still being in massive disadvantage.
But Lucky for soviets the F2 is unlocked at very late in campaign so late tbh that id argue majority of casuals arent willing to take it up to ass for weeks before they get to unlock something that can actually fight against t34.
But if they for some odd reason do, they will find out that every soviet tank is capable to destroy F2 while in practice only tank capable to deal with t34 is F2.
Not sure about the t-60 but I suppose it has strong enough stalinium core AP ammunition to deal with F2.
Most likely due to fact that when T-34 came to moscow it did not have tank counter.
Which made the tank gameplay entirely onesided shitshow.
No matter how much you yell the skill issue 99% players are just casuals that definitely dont want to spend 5minutes to take out 1 single tank because you have to flank and what else in order to be able to defeat it.
Aka when you play the tank you very least want to have fighting chance against other tanks, not to be forced to use detpacks or suicide plane in order to deal with other factions tanks.
Especiatly when we consider how much the moscow campaign is favoring soviets its quite tarded that only one faction of said campaign is required to flank and what else to compete with other sides equipment.
Sure germans have the F2 now, but its still quite far from balanced but atleast theres a fighting chance.
And IL-2 has 6mm ? of stalinium yet MGās are having rather hard time to penetrate it.
While it isnt exactly a hard task to any actual rifle caliber for some odd reason in this game it is.
Not to mention the t-60 tin coffin that effectively deflects 20mm from Bf-110.
Well im quite sure devs have statistics & data of how well it works out when you give all the good tools to other faction and leave the other faction to fight with detpacks.
Moscow being prime example.
