This is the available veichle list for soviet fighter III

They are intentionally designed to not be able to use I-185.
Cause German last fighter Bf-109K can be use by their Fighter III squad.

This makes it hard to upgrade this squad due to no meta plane is available.
La-7 with 2*100kg got powercrepped
Yak-9T is more like a toy for those have lots of slots
Don’t even know why BR1 hurricane is here

This is the devs’ obvious discrimination against Soviet faction.
They just wanted to slow down the grind for Soviet players.
And make KT harder to kill.

From my perspective, the La-7 may be the best fighter in the game. Outperforms the M-82 in every aspect except bomb size and guns. Should be noted that the time to kill with two 20mm shvak cannons is very quick making a third almost redundant. But more importantly, La-7 arguably outperforms all German fighters. In contrast, M-82 will struggle against most.

It is odd that the fighter pilot 3 does not have access to it though. In any case, XP should come easier with the 7 over the 82.

Would personally opt to fly the La-5 over the M-82.

Anyways, just an opinion. If you do well with the 82, you should dominate with the 7.
