I want to transfer my premium soldiers to other squads or transfer some soldiers to a premium squad.
When you have many squads the premium squads are frustrating because it is only one unit type, and I would like to take engineer, or sniper or gunner into the squad and not have all the same unit type.
Boosters, cosmetics, heck I would even let them pay to get a priority queue, you know(pay for convenience). Maybe pay to get more tokens. But flat out buy squads and weapons that are already upgraded in some cases, puts you miles ahead and some of the squad you cant even earn. So I am happy you have money to burn and support the game but buy power that gives you a flat advantage over others is bad and it will always be bad, no matter how you justify it.
I think the premium squads are fine, it’s too late they arn’t going back on that its in the game, but how premium squads works can be changed…
Since squad composition can be balanced, I thought premium squads should be units you can use in other squads, If premium squads keep being released you could literally have an army of only premium squads…
And if you only brought premium squads your versatility on the field would be pretty shit because of how they’re limited to only one unit type and weapon.
I don’t have money to burn, I just don’t smoke or drink, and work 40+ hours a week. If I see something I like, and feel that it’s worth buying, then I’ll buy it. In your model, I wouldn’t even consider spending any money on the game.
Then that is the game’s fault, the fact the game has nothing to offer in a free to play model than pay to win mechanics speaks volumes. I do not mind spending money, I encourage people to support game development but not tactics like this. But am ending it cause this is not my thread and we won’t agree.
This is why I don’t like premium squads, I want to be able to put a premium soldier here or there in the mix with my other soldiers, in other squads, it sucks that I can’t move them out of the squad.
I can agree with that. I think premium squads get pretty inferior to other squads mid to late-game. I think a good compromise to not being able to improve the premium squad itself with more men is being able to take veteran soldiers out of the squads and in turn losing the overall squad benefits while still being able to make use of the soldiers and equipment.
Since they will probably take the War Thunder path of constantly adding premiums, this will at least actually make them useful beyond the early game.
I also agree a good bit that premium squads overall are a bit pay-to-win. You are basically paying for buffed soldiers and better equipment you wouldn’t normally have without grinding 50-100 hours into the game. With how the TTK is, I don’t think they are necessarily OP though.
