Allow engineers to equip a shotgun

Hopefully they will change the Drilling shotgun to allow you to use the rifle mounted underneath by using the same button as you would use to switch firing mode or grenade launcher.

It will be much useful to allow engineer to carry sub-machine guns

The point is to get away from full auto spam, and give them something that gets them to focus more on the building of structures rather than using like a rifleman or assaulter. Shotguns do that.

Shotgun use in the game is totally fantasy. Its should be changed drastically .

Shotguns should be restricted

Only military that officialy adopted shotguns were us. Other world militries have stricts mindset on shotguns: " rifles are for war, shotguns are for hunting animals" Only exception was lutwaffe drilling. Most of the shotguns were used in pacific cqc combats by marines but not in europe. Since pacific was very heavily infantry based war.
