The map preference system is very poor. If I don’t like the conquest mode, I will be forced to spend almost all the “dislikes” on a bunch of conquest modes, and then I will still enter the conquest mode.
This system has almost no effect! But we received a completely effective punishment for desertion as a result!Very unfair, almost only harmful to players.
To improve players’ gaming experience, please allow “dislike” option to completely disable the map. Insufficient quantity alone is enough to limit it, and it should not be given more restrictions.
I still crash immediately after reconnecting for a few seconds, which is so frustrating. I tried 3 or 4 times, but eventually gave up and then received punishment.
Ironically, I didn’t crash when I entered the map I didn’t like, which made me play in pain. I completed all the tasks early, but due to the game crashing, I was unable to complete the last round of the four games.
it would be impossible to implement. you would get max 2 map choice for ban cause there are 20 players and you risk situations where players could ban all maps from map pool cause MM first finds 20 players and then checks their preferences.
if it worked first by map choice and then found players, then you would get either long queue times or you would get bot matches.
Assuming a map has started matching and now requires 20 players, theoretically each player has a 1/4 chance of not liking the map. Therefore, the final result is that the number of players assigned to this map is 3/4 of the current number, which will not have a significant impact.
This is the theoretical situation, but in reality, the maps that players don’t like are likely to be highly similar, which means that there will be more players assigned to this map.For those players who haven’t set “dislike” for unpopular maps, they will still have 1/2 maps that are the same as most players, and they will quickly enter these maps.
I gotta say, if the game is crashing that much for you, it might indicate an issue with your rig. I’d be inclined to run some diagnostics and stress tests. The last time the game really crashed out regularly for me turned out to be a faulty GFX card.
I found that restarting the computer can solve the problem, but immediately crashing after reconnecting is still the first time I have encountered it. Anyway, I hope it won’t happen again in the future.
