The thing i dislike about the merge the most is that certain maps will no longer appear on your rotation based on your BR. This kills replayability for me as in reality i only ever see 1-5 maps regularly, there is no reason to lock maps out of the playlist. Let everyone at least be able to use all the maps the game has available

They tried to keep some historical accuracy. Emphasis on tried. There shouldn’t be Tiger II’s in Tunisia and whatnot

At best it’s an arbitrary half measure left over from when they tried to tie br to the maps. The list of anachronistic weapons available in every br is so long any historical accuracy might as well be accidental.
I agree they should remove the br requirements for maps for maximum variety.
Shoot I was one of the VERY few who wanted the Preferred Map system, as that would’ve kept map choice, variety of enemies in battles, and historical accuracy

Alright instead of all maps are on the table then i would be fine to being able to pick the ones you want. But now the issue i am trying to shine a light at is if you play the game regularly you start realizing how few maps there are
Well, Germany fights everywhere but the Pacific, and as of the last update low BR now matchmakes into previously high BR exclusive maps. So if you want to fight EVERYWHERE, BR I-III Germany’s where it’s at
I’m so looking forward to playing the Tunisian maps which are perfect for the newly added troop carriers!

So, on one hand, people complain about wanting campaigns with historically relatively accurate weapons and maps to return. On the other hand, they want to be able to fight with anything anywhere. Interesting.
I still advocate opening up all maps here, and then Allies vs. Axis , forget about historical accuracy.

No, afaik Berlin is still high BR only.
But honestly they could easily allow low BR matches on Berlin as well.
Outside of super early war vehicles like biplanes and such, nothing would look that much out of place.
And if Normandy is fair game for low BR, Berlin should be as well.

Yeah, I think that update was only for Normandy/Bulge.
Well that’s odd. Well, whatever. Maybe they’ll change it later
