Used by Chinese and Red Spain forces. Replaced by DP long before the war.
So it would make more sense for a Sino-Japanese campaign or a posible Spanish Civil War one.

Never heard from it.

Like I said they would have to stretch to get them in but it would not be the first time. The RP44 is actually on the random weapon picture in the logistics area so its already modeled

There’s plenty of info on it - the design was finalized and ready for mass production in 1944, and is the RPD - for which you can find as much info as you want.

It wasn’t adopted for mass production until 1948, and production ramped up in 1953 - but that is the same gun as was ready in 1944.

It’s just not sexy to consider that the effin’ commies had an intermediate cartridge LMG by the end of WW2 because it’s only nazi’s who had intermediate cartridge stuff, STG43, blah blah…etc, etc.

i played with it 2 or 3 times.

had alot of recoil per bullet on a crazy conefire almost unplayable., but had a nice 100 belt magasin., like prety much all weapons back then, they had some strange recoils., even the mg42 had alot of recoil back then. i m not surprised if it comes more balanced when they introduce it .

If given enough ammo to balance it would be great

I said a long time ago they should add the M1919 Stinger

It was a field modification and was used in Pacific only. It would make a great battle pass weapon, or maybe a premium squad, but definitely not for a regular progression.

Also, the Stinger wasn’t made out of an M1919, but out of an AN/M2 taken from crashed aircrafts, so it had over twice the rate of fire - around 1200 rpm. Also there were only six of them in the “Medal of Honor winning” configuration - the one used on Iwo Jima.

I mean, the RD-44 is the name of the early RPD variant which went through troop trials in 1944.

You are aware the AN/M2 is literally what I described an AN/M2 is a cut down and lighten 1919 used as defensive armament on bombers and such like that Ian can explain this weapon better.

I know, I’ve seen Ian’s video. I just wanted to point out that it was not made out of a regular M1919 and that it was only a field modification weapon, so it would fit best in the game as a battle pass weapon.
