Well yes it is there was 50 and some suggest even 60 round versions but this one that I picked is standard 30 rounds cuz I wanna keep the 50 or 60 round for my Japanese BR Tech tree:
Type 91 (6.5 mm) - War Thunder Wiki

But if they add it to the tech tree the even weapon can be replaced with .ZB -26 modified to shoot 6.5x50 mm Arisaka with 30 rounds curved mag
ZB -26 30 round mag

Also if they add I-Go-Ko to the game they can give it 60 rounds in the mg cuz Japanese tanks have bad mgs this one is iconic and having big mag MG may make it interesting option for starters :

here is more info on the machine guns:

Im not against adding prototypes -however this is especially not necessary for Germany, considering how many iconic vehicles havenā€™t been added yet - or those that have been but still need to be rebalanced to make them usable in their BRs.

Yes thatā€™s true but also a lot of people will love the Leopard but there is many other options

I love your posts :revolving_hearts:

Thank you Iā€™m making one on Japanese tanks right now :joy:

You really piqued my interest when you told me about the 60 load Type 91. However, the lack of any accurate information and pictures of the 60 load magazine kept me awake. I would like to say that it didnā€™t take me quite a long time to find information, during which I came across for example the tank version of the MG 17. Initially I thought of the Type 89, but it turned out that it only had a 45 round magazine. But after a while I managed to find this photo:
a2-tip-3-s-prisposobleniem-dlya-magazinnogo-pitaniya-iz-vintovochnyh-oboym

The photo shows a Type 3 machine gun with a magazine similar to the Type 11. On Reddit it is claimed that the magazine can be loaded with 60 rounds, which is believable considering its size. I quite admit that such a magazine could have been tried on the Type 11. I hope I can be of some help :upside_down_face:.

By the way this is a very interesting, rare and mysterious specimen. As far as I understand, the photo shows the Manchurian modification, which used a slightly modified version of the magazine from the Type 96 machine gun, but in fact exactly the same ZB 26 under the Japanese cartridge was presented for the Type 96 machine gun. And I can assume that these were two independent developments:

This machine gun did not win the competition, but work on it did not end, and the project evolved into the Type 97.

As far as I know, the Japanese military has troffered a Chinese version of the ZB 26 with dual 40-round magazines:

Well I started it from war thunder and there it stated that it has 50 or even some claimed 60 rounds in the mag.

Well ZB had a lot of modifications made in China and Japan the most rear that i know is Type 77 the magazine is not on top but on the side of the gun looks very cool
Type 77 light machine gun produced by the Zhejiang Iron Factory, which moved the magazine to the side, shifted the center of gravity in exchange for a better view, and also simplified the production process.

I hadnā€™t come across the information before about the 60 load magazine. But when you told me about it, I did a little investigating, I think it could be a very interesting weapon for events.

What could be better than ZB 26? Two ZB 26 made in China during the civil war   !
