Airfield Bases and Vehicle Garages

**I am hoping that the developers, since they are the same genius’ (NOT SARCASM) that made and developed WarThunder which I play and LOVE! That they will add airfields to the Enlisted battlefields, and that that being out of bounds does NOT apply to pilots and their planes! Just like in all scenarios of WarThunder, each side has it’s Base/Bases and Airfield/Airfields. ALL aircraft MUST LAND on their own airfield to reload, repair, and resupply, then take off again.
As for tanks, armored cars, other vehicular ground forces, you MUST return to the Garage Base to reload, repair, and resupply, NOT some designated spot in the mud…
This would make Enlisted really realistic! It seems the developers were going for more realism in Enlisted as opposed to WarThunder, that had 3rd person viewing of vehicles. This change would make it MUCH more real!
ALSO, that you can give a pilot a toolbox so he can land either in a field, or if he makes it back to the airfield, he can get out and begin repairing the air plane!
Yes, gunners on Airplanes that have gunner positions is a must for reality in this game, and I hope to see it soon!
It would be nice to get rid of the out of bounds rule totally, in real war, you can get misguided and lost, and here in Enlisted should be no different!
Maybe even a HQ Conquering mode that uses the WHOLE map and no out of bounds, and losing your HQ = Total Defeat!
Maybe Engineers could be able to build some of these things I mentioned. If they could, then depending on what it is, it can only be built once per game/round…
Not being able to fix the planes or land some where to repair, has ruined Enlisted for me. I will be waiting to see something like this implemented. As for now I quit playing, and will not spend anything to buy items as I did for WarThunder… I spent A LOT OF MONEY on my WarThunder vehicles. It would be cool to be able to port them into Enlisted… Maybe hopefully… in the future…
-To the developer- “Keep up the good work! Your games are AWESOME!”

I think the airfield would not be a good addition because, firstly, not everyone is a good pilot, you might be surprised, as I was too, that lots of players can’t even stay in the air, and also it would makes planes very inefficient, because you’d have to spend a few minutes going to rearm, while instead you could be farming kills in a tank, or just playing infantry and get more kills. This would also increase the occurrence of kamikaze attacks. However, I think they would be a good addition alongside the rearm point, but only for repairs, since there is no way to do so currently.

As for tanks, I think a little garage would look cool, but it would be out of place. IRL, tanks would rather get supplied by transport vehicles, or head back to base, instead of driving up to a random garage in enemy territory. I just don’t think it would make sense, especially on invasion maps. If anything, I’d probably be okay with a captured building with shells laying around.

I don’t think that removing boundaries would be a good idea, however I would be a fan of bigger maps with more players. Removing boundaries on the current maps would just cause massive flank wars and tank mayhem, since tankers could just drive onto a distant hill and claim reign over the whole map.

Functional aircraft gunners is something that we all have been waiting for since release. They said they’d add them “soon” last summer…

Final note, there should be a limit on how realistic a video game is. Many people would rather have action-filled fun. Mixing an arcade-y FPS and a driving sim that requires Mudrunner patience doesn’t work well.

I think and Airfield or a make shift Airfield an Engineer could build to help air units to repair themselves would be great or at least if you’re able to land your plane in a field and have a tool kit equipped on your pilot you should be able to repair your Airplane the same way you’re able to repair a tank if your tanker is equipped with a tool kit. There should be some way to repair your damaged air craft. For any one to suggest that a player should not be able to repair their damaged airplane, simply because some players suck at flying and couldn’t land a plane to save their lives is idiocy. In WarThunder there is a home airfield, if not more than one, and you can repair AND rearm there! It does NOT take too much time. It is a fact of life that you must get back to a rearming point, and repair point, to do so. Like I said if the developers think it’s too much time and effort to program in a airbase, then the rearm spot in the sky is better than nothing even if it is very arcady and not realistic, BUT THERE SHOULD BE SOME WAY TO REPAIR YOUR PLANE!!!
You should be able to land and repair WITH OUT DYING FROM BEING OUT OF BOUNDS! There must be areas designed into the game to allow a skilled enough player to do this, and not force their death, not fun, not right, not realistic, and a game ruiner for me to!!! I think I just saw a video that allows you now to bailout of a fatally damaged aircraft, which realistically is true, if a plane is too damaged, it won’t be able to land, and you would crash trying to do so…
Oh and Sharkzy64 I think there should be spawn limits in certain modes of the game, like there is in WarThunder, so having a team member like you that would waste a life Kamakazeeing them selves into enemies to get a few kills, and wasting spawn points would suck! To let you know there IS spawn points and in a few games my team ran out of spawn points and I had to watch from the sidelines. Why don’t you go play something more your speed like Mario Kart. Its very arcade like for you, since you dislike realism. Bottom Line Let planes be repaired, also when a player manages to land a plane, either make the propellers not so prone to bending, or let the tool kit, if they bought it and have it equipped on the pilot to also get repaired with the other damages.
